Unni Gurukkal - that is what thousands of his students call Sankaranarayana Menon, a native of Chavakkad in Kerala's Thrissur. The 93-year-old who is an exponent of Kalaripayattu, the ancient martial arts form of Kerala is still active in his Kalari, training over a hundred students even now.
