Each year the School of Politics and International Relations may offer the David Adams Prize for Introduction to Politics. This prize is currently $1,000. The objective of the prize is to recognise the student who, in that year was enrolled in a program leading to the award of a degree of Bachelor in the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences; and achieved the best result, as shown by the award of the highest mark in the course Introduction to Politics (POLS1002). The prize will be on offer annually. The funding for this prize, set up by David Adams for the most outstanding student in the Introduction to Politics course, has been recently augmented by Ms Jill Adams.
